While some believe freedom of speech violates the rights of others, it is one of the most fundamental rights that individuals enjoy. In this argumentative essay, I’ll discuss why freedom of speech is important, but it’s not the only important right that we have. Yes, freedom of speech should be absolute, but we should not give anyone the chance to define reasonable restrictions. But hate speech should strictly be restricted, as it infringes on free speech of others. â€Å"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow know what you truly want to become, Steve Jobs†. Choosing this topic is to actually show that not everything needs an argument, like what if there weren’t any rules; imagine how the world be. The phrase†¦show more content†¦Why should it be restricted? People have a right to say whatever they want to say. No one has the right to stop them. Sometimes the world may not like some of the opinions people voice, or the words that they use, but this is absolutely no reason to have the government trample peoples natural rights. What about it needs to be restricted? Freedom of speech can help the world change. But like BIG said â€Å"we can’t change the world unless we change ourselves†. For example, how can a preacher have the right to express/voice his opinion about some but the congregation can’t. Maybe that’s a bad example ha-ha but you get what I’m trying to say. Where can it be restricted at? It can be restricted in the White House. Presidents don’t realize how powerful there tongue is. Like for instance Donald Trump dissing Steph like that come on man you’re the president. As much as I dislike Steph, the way he handle it people couldn’t do nothing but respect him. It’s probably so much going on in that place with Trump. But see now this comes back to things that we have no control over its done now he’s the man in charge e ither get with it or get gone.
